Xtreme Stripers Guide Service is your one stop Striped Bass, Walleye and Crappie guide when it comes to Lake Norfork, we specialize in Striped Bass fishing.
In March, spring activates a flurry of action . . . bass move into creeks and coves to prowl for food, monster crappie move into brush and man-made beds, and walleye scour the banks for minnows. This is the beginning of s a fishing season that lasts all year. Because Lake Norfork is virtually mosquito-free, night fishing under lights for crappie and white bass is popular during the summer.
Whatever you may be looking to catch, we will put you on the fish and show you how to catch them. We run our 24-foot Mako center console out of Buzzard Roost Boat Dock, a marina adjacent to Blue Haven Resort. When fishing for stripers, we prefer light tackle – It not only adds to the challenge, but makes for a better fight. We usually run six rods, changing fishing depths and locations depending on the season and where the schools are running.
Having over 20 years of experience, guide Bryan Wimsatt and others will teach you the best tackle, presentation and techniques on one of the world’s best Striper fisheries. We pride ourselves in teaching others how to successfully catch big stripers!
Bryan has over 15 years experience fishing on Norfork Lake and is known to tell a fish story or two — most of which are true. All bait and tackle is provided for you. We use live bait. At the end of the trip, all of your fish will be cleaned and packaged for you. All you have to do is enjoy the thrill of the catch. Bryan takes care of all the hard work.
His unparalleled experience and enthusiasm for the sport of fishing is second to none. He’ll find the fish, and show you the best techniques to catch them. Bryan runs a 24-foot Mako center console, equipped with a Garmin Panoptix. Hold on to your hats, folks. It’s going to be a great ride!
